Avon Haul

My mums friend is an Avon Rep and mum is always bringing me home wee Avon surprise bags! Mum loves an Avon nail polish!
This time I decided I wanted to have a wee look and order some goodies for myself!

I chose these Nail Wear Pro nail polishes in these fruity shades. They are perfect for summer and all have a wee shimmer. My favourite is Mandarin Magic which I talked about in  my last post.

Honeydew Dazzle £6

Grape Goddess £6

Madarin Magic £6

Apple of His Eye £6

Seduce me Strawberry £6

There are two different eye products in this Avon Haul. The Supershock Eyeliner Pencil is double ended and I got this in the colours Chocolate Melt and Cream Dream. When I applied these I found that they were the perfect balance of colour pigment and shimmer.
Chocolate Melt/Cream Dream £7

The second eye product is from their Colour Trend Collection which I think might be their junior range. I picked Chocolate Kiss which is a powder eye shadow duo, containing a brown and cream colour. I do love rocking a natural eye!
Chocolate Kiss £4.50

The next group of products are more skin and bath time goodies.
I bought the conditioning eye make-up remover, because I'm wearing more eye make-up and my normal cleanser is just not cutting it in the make-up remover category. I do enjoy a heavy duty waterproof mascara but I don't enjoy the feeling where my eye lids are glued together the next morning.
£4

I got a couple of products from the Planet Spa collection. Can not wait to try this Dead Sea Minerals Nourishing Body Butter. Love the wee mason jar packaging too!
£8

I couldn't decide between their Chinese Ginseng Revitalising Face Mask OR The Dead Sea Minerals Facial Mud Mask. I went with the Revitalising Face mask in the end as it was for blemish prone skin. It smells delicious and refreshing and will be using this tonight! Love a Saturday night in Pampering myself.
£5.50

The final item is for my gross feet! I have horrid hard skinned feet at the moment that need love and attention. Especially this summer as I plan to wear sandles most days. I got the Foot Works Exfoliating Bar Soap. The bar contains Apricot Kernels which should help to rub all the dead skin away! Beautiful imagery there!
£3.50

Can not wait for my next order! I have heard great things about their Gel Eyeliner!

What is in your Bag and Make-up Bag?

I have seen a few blog posts and Youtube videos recently showing you a wee glimpse of what is in their bags and make-up bags and I wanted to show you guys what I tend to take with me everywhere, as well as a peak see at my make-up station.

This is the bag that I take most places with me and it is my Zara bag that I just had to have one payday! Usually I have an hour to kill before I start work so I like to take a few things to entertain me like my ipad and my Harry Potter book. I am a big Harry Potter fan and I am planning a London trip to the Harry Potter Studios.

I also take with me my Soap and Glory Hand Food and Hand Maid. I love these products and I have really dry hands so they have to come with me everywhere.

I like to take my Bumble&Bumble Surf Spray with me everywhere to give my hair volume when it is flat and lacking OOOOMPH! I have the straightest hair in Scotland you see and the biggest ears and these things do not go well together!

The D&G L'Imperatrice perfume is one of my favourites right now. It is fresh and fruity and it is my perfect summer fragrance with hints of kiwi and watermelon.

My Accessorize purse and make-up bag are pretty essential as are my keys and iphone.
So that is the contents of my bag :)

Inside my Accessorize see-through make-up bag is my everyday make-up essentials.

I am in love with the Clinique CC cream which I can not praise enough and recommend it to people whenever I get the chance! It is lightweight and gives a dewy, everyday base.

I got this wee Benefit Porefessional Primer sample from a counter when  I got my brows waxed and tinted, and I can not wait to buy the full size version! It is amazing at keeping my make-up stay put all day.

I use the Collection Lasting Perfection Concealer in light and it is ace at covering my stress spots.

My friend Loren recommended Maybelinne Falsies to me and it is an amazing mascara. I am really bad at thinking that high end mascaras are better than high street versions but this really is AMAZING!

My blusher, highlighter and bronzer are from Sleek in this beautiful palette and it make me smile every time I use it :) It is called Light 373 but I know that the blusher is the Sleek Rose Gold blusher. It is the perfect coral/pink shade with gold shimmer and it is perfect for summer.

This eye-shadow palette is from MUA and was the biggest bargain in history! I think it was £4 and it is the palette undress me too! It is the best natural palette I own and the shadows are so pigmented.

I keep this wee L'occitaine Cherry Blossom hand cream in my make-up bag because like I have said, dry hands.
My final make-up bag essentials are my Dior Foundation brush and the Real Techniques contour brush.

This is my favourite part of my room. My sister made this cabinet for me in her wood work class and I love it. She is such a talented wee soul! The top is for my skin care and hair products and my high end nail polishes and lipsticks.

There is a wee cubby for my other nail polishes, one for lips and blushers, one for foundations, BB creams and powders and the other is for eye-shadow palettes.

I'll do another post which gives you a wee tour of my make-up station later!

Baking Brownies

I love to bake and I decided to spend my Thursday morning being productive baking brownies and drinking tea like a real wee housewife! I decided to give the brownies a twist by giving the base and Oreo base!

Orange Nails

This is a little post about my favourite orange nail polishes. I love doing my nails and I love how summery orange nails can look.
Here are 2 facts about me:

Number 1: I LOVE ORANGE
Number 2: I am allergic to oranges...

I think I compensate for not being able to actually drink a fresh glass of orange juice, with buying all the different shades of orange nail polishes I can find.

Avon- Mandarin Magic/ Barry M High Shine Jelly- Satsuma/ Chanel- Orange Fizz/
Chanel- Holiday/ Rimmel Lasting Finish- Tangy Tangerine/
Models own-Beach Party/ Maybelline Colour Show- Solar Flare

My favourite orange nail polish in the world is Holiday by Chanel. I love it so much that I have 2 bottles! I am a big fan of the Barry M High Shine Jelly and this Satsuma  is the perfect summer shade. Orange nails are a trend I will be rocking all summer long!
